Erdal YAZICI

Born in Elazig, southeast Turkey, in 1953, Erdal Yazici completed a foundation course in education at Anadolu University. He began his professional career as a photographer in 1983 and had his first photo-reportages published in the national daily, Gunaydin newspaper. In the following years, he expanded his portfolio to include publications such as Cumhuriyet newspaper, Atlas, Gezi/National Geographic Traveler, Voyager and Skylife magazines.

Alinka

Alinka was born on 22.2.1980 in the Ukraine in Tschernowzy which belonged at the same time to the USSR. In 1992 Alinkas family emigrated to Gemany. The first contact to photography originated from a school companion who visited a national university course in photography, he needed a model. Initial ignition for Alinka: “I am able to do this also!” While Alinka applied with the photos of her friend at the agencies she was casted for fashion and adverstising photography. Alinkas exchange with Thomas Rusch in Paris, with Svenson in Hamburg and Udo Spreitzenbarth in New York gave Alinka determining impulses for her work. By Alinkas working contact she found out technical support from Agfa and Epson. Pictures and the first publications of Alinkas photografic works followed in “MaxOnline” and “PhotographieOnline”. The weird and grotesque of the everyday life which she also discovers in her life finds entrance in her work.
